doesn't squeal when i first turn it on but then it starts to squeal when accessories are turned on and throttle is stepped on. its a '02 Mazda Protege

Check your belts for tightness, sounds like they are loose! Good Luck!

If tightening doesn't do the job, then the alternator pulley may be glazed. Wire-wheel it.
