I'm assuming it has a serpetine belt and not v belts, if it has vbelts i can advice you how to do it, on a typical serpetine belt which means theres one single belt that controls EVERYTHING there should be a idler adjuster arm which is just a arm about 4-6 inches long with a pulley on one end that moves up and down, you have to re rout your belt on the propper accesories in the proper order, there should be a belt diagram under the hood as a sti cker either on the hood, or on the radiator support if you forgot how the belt goes, just pull that arm down which will allow you plenty of tension to change the belt and release the arm once you have the belt routed properly and it will automatically be properly tensioned,.

there is a pulley tensioner that either has a square hole in it or a bolt heat, you must put a socket on this tensioner and hold it down to allow belt to go on then release it. Tensioner is normally in the center somewhere and you should be abe to tell it by pushing down on it, it will be spring loaded.
Find a used car similar to yours; go to that dealer, look at the engine to determine your mistake.

Usually the alternator is bolted on a slide bracket, you pull the alternator tight with a crowbar, and then tighten that last screw.
