Engine Question?

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L I4, and i was wondering why my engine almost sounds electric, kind of a high pitch noise when accelerating. I took it into a reputable dealer twice for it.

First time- Changed Alternator Belt but it didn't fix it

second time- though it might be muffler problem wasn't, and they tested out another of the same year and it did the same thing.

Does anyone know if this is a normal sound?

Plus i do live in Wisconsin and it is cold, but i mean it does it even when the car is warmed up
Engine Question?
Some engines make a pretty loud timing belt noise. If the other car sounds the same it's most likely normal.
Engine Question?
It could be a handful of things thats why they didnt fix it on the first trys it could also just be that type of car you should ask another owner or mabey even test drive a used one to see if its the same it could also be something with your power steering pump or rack and pinoin if it happens when you are turning for the people to fix it right you got to tell them exsatly what it sounds like and when it happens for them to narrow down the things that is could be
it is a normal sound
